Onsite Training

According to the NFPA, anyone working on or around energized equipment needs training on electrical safe work practices, and our onsite program offers a variety of comprehensive courses to suit all of your NFPA 70E training needs. You may even be able to earn Continuing Education Units for participation in one of our onsite classes.

Meet Our Instructors

 

Joe DeMonte

Director, Technical Training & Support

Mr. DeMonte holds both an Associate Degree in Science and Applied Science and Bachelor of Arts Degree from Thomas Edison State College; graduated from the Naval Nuclear Power School in 1993 and served in the United States Navy as a Line Manager Level Nuclear Mechanic.

At-A-Glance

  • Spent 6 years as a Line Level Nuclear Mechanic with the United States Navy
  • Over 22 years of industry experience, specializing in predictive maintenance techniques, especially infrared thermography
  • A former senior infrared thermography instructor for the ITC, designing courses for and instructing Navy Special Ops and Coast Guard forces
  • Obtained the ASNT Thermal Infrared Level III Certification

Joe Gierlach

Vice President, Technical Training & Support

In 1984, Mr. Gierlach completed a 3-year Electronic Technology curriculum and entered the United States Air Force. Mr. Gierlach served 4 years (1984-1988) with the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Ground Support Equipment Technician.

  • Spent 4 years in the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Ground Support Equipment Technician
  • Over 30 years of industry experience, and skilled with process controls, DCS and DDS systems, PLC process design, installation, programming, and commissioning
  • Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP)
  • ITC Level III Certified Thermographer
